<p>Did anyone take 9.520 (Statistical Learning Theory and Applications) with Alexander Rakhlin in the Spring semester of 2008? He is teaching a course at Penn next year in Stat and wanted to know if anyone knows if he is a good professor. Thanks!</p>

<p>I checked the course evaluations and he wasn’t listed as an instructor for 9.520 in Spring 08 so I don’t have any direct feedback for him. The course got a rating of 6.1/7, though, so he obviously didn’t ruin the class.</p>
