We did the same thing last week and they just changed it yesterday. When you log into your student portal, the PDF invoice on your NUPay bill only updates on the first of the month or something. But I called them and the lady told me to go into my self-service tab and click on the link to “View Your Student Account”. It updated on there and also changed the amount listed on my NUPay home screen. However, like I said, we’ll have to wait until August in order for that PDF invoice to update. Sorry for the long-winded response.

Every semester your e-bill will ‘charge’ you for the insurance, and then if you waived it, it will also have a ‘credit’ for the insurance. That’s not what you asked, but I figured I’d point it out in case you saw your e-bill and was confused.

Marino is at its most crazy between 5:30 and 8. Between 6 and 7 it’s sometimes hard to get a machine, and the track can be packed if it’s hot/cold out. Avoid that time if you can, but if not, it’s not that big of a deal.

simplyxcin, you don’t have to get their health insurance, you just have to waive their health plan under the ‘student services’ part of the self-service tab in the myneu portal.

Oh okay, thanks guys! I guess I should’ve waited a few more days, I just checked and the NUPay home screen’s been updated.

simplyxcin, i’m not sure but i think health plus is a state run program? you should probably check and see if you have any providers in the boston area.
