Random Fin-Aid questions

I just have 3 small questions regarding fin-aid.

I filled out my Fafsa and submitted it, but did not sign it until later. I used my pin, and my father’s pin, so now I’m confused whether or not the schools or cal grant recieved the fafsa?

My parents own a business, so there is no way they can fill out their tax forms by March, are the due dates flexible enough to allow them more time to finish their tax forms?

Will the colleges tell me if I’m missing any information, much like admissions, for financial aid?

Thanks to all those who answer.

I would call one school or Cal grant. If one of them received it, then they probably all did. You can do an estimate on the business/farm supplement based on 2005, if your parents won’t have the totals for 2006 in time. It is very important that you submit that asap, with estimates, and include a letter to the schools explaining the situation. I just typed up a memo on a microsoft word memo template, made a copy for each school, and then my daughter and I both signed them and sent them out. Just basically explain why the parents final business supplement will not be available until April, but that the estimates from 2005 are fairly close/accurate. They want to make a decision on financial aid soon, and the sooner you get in your business supplement with estimates, the better your chances of being considered for money.
