Random Mail

Has any1 else here gotten random mail from Harvard commending them on there achievements in high school?

I hate to break this to you, but it does not mean anything.

Harvard, and other colleges, send out tens of thousands of these letters and brochures every year. Although Harvard doesn’t give out specific numbers, Yale mails 80,000 letters to student’s each year. Harvard probably sends out more.

Colleges buy your address from the College Board/ACT based upon your test scores. So, congratulations, you made the cut – in terms of test scores, but so did lots of other students.
