<li><p>It is mostly White and Asian, but like any other college, there will still be a subtantial amount of other ethnic groups. You can check ucsd’s website for the exact demographics.</p></li>

<p>Correction about #6, Kenny, Tioga is being renovated this summer(that’s why we were housed in Tenaya), they were supposed to do Tenaya too, but it was logistically unfeasible, so they should be doing that one sometime in the near future.</p>

<li>They show both big time films and indie films, for 3 bucks. Great deal.</li>
<li>There’s actually a lot to do around campus if you get involved, you can chill, you can party, you can knit hats, anything you want, there’s probably people around that will want to do the same.</li>
<li>Great International Studies department, beautiful location, far enough from home that I can avoid going home on the weekends but close enough that I can if I want to, friends on campus love it, etc.</li>

<li><p>Yes indeed, the beach is about a 10 minute biking (maybe walking?) from Muir, but that’s because Muir is the closest to the shore. I can imagine it would take much longer from Sixth or ERC.</p></li>
<li><p>Well. There’s not exactly a big sports pride but… It’s there. We don’t have a football thing and hence, a big lack of rah-rah-go-sports-spirit but… If you like sports, it’s there and it’s not bad. :)</p></li>
<li><p>From what I’ve heard, it is a large nerd population, so it’s not a party school like SDSU. But I heard if you’re looking for some, uh, noise, then you can certainly find it.</p></li>
<li><p>A lot of the movies shown in Price Center are big hits that are a little bit dated. I.E. They showed Memoirs of a Geisha for … $2/$3? or was it free? a few months after it was in the movie theaters.</p></li>
<li><p>KENNY! BOO! Yes, as stupidfambaloo said, it is TIOGA that is getting renovated this very summer so it will be spanking new and ready for us '10ers this fall. I will take stupidfambaloo’s word when he said it will be done in the future because… I don’t know anything about Tenaya.</p></li>
<li><p>:( Yea, I have to admit I’m going to UCSD only because I was rejected by all my other schools, but! To counter that, I fell in love with UCSD and I’m very excited to go to UCSD so… Don’t let stuff like that bring you down!<br>

<p>Since I found this to be the perfect time to suck up–the new biggest reason as to why I’m going to UCSD is because awesome people like ^ Diana and Natalie are going here (Muir, specifically), too.</p>

<p>Yeah, I agree with lindzeeo. I was actually accepted into UC Berkeley, but I decided to go to UCSD instead because I believe the pre-med program is better than, or at least on par with UCB’s. Therefore, the location made the choice an easy one over Berkeley.</p>
