rank dilemma

When I was a freshman, I attended a really competive high school where the chances of getting a high average is pretty low, so my average there was horrendous( 87 and 92.14 unweighted and all honors classes). After my freshman year, I transferred to a not so competitive high school where grade inflation is the norm. I am currently a junior and my sophomore year average was good (99.18 and 100.04 weighted) and my second marking period average is a 100.56 weighted. But the problem is that even if I continue to do as well in my junior year, my cumulative average would still put me in the bottom spectrum within the top 10% (most probably 80 out of 800). The funny thing is that although my average is lower than my peers’, they suck at taking tests; I am most probably the only junior who got commended on the PSAT in my school this year (I got a 206). Most people with over 95 weighed average in my school still get below a 180 on the PSAT. How will colleges see my low rank and average? How can I explain that to them?

anyone here.

You could ask your guidance counselor to explain it in a letter or something.

R U sure that your new school uses the old school gpa? (most schools I know do not use other school grades)
