rank-in-class

Hello, I am an international high school student here.
I am planing to apply for Cornell Univ. in a couple of years.
I heard they look at our rank-in-class very much but I’m really afraid because many students in my class take better grade than I do like by 1~5%. My grades are fromB+ to A (I think I can bring B+ up). The grades of students does matter to the rank-in-class right? If it does, is there any chance that I could be admitted to Cornell Univ? Is there any advice that I can improve for the future?

P.S. I am a freshman student. I really want to get into dep. of animal science in Cornell Univ.

Yo do yourself a favor and stay off of this site until at least early Junior year. Chances are you don’t really know what you want in a university, and what you think you want will change.

Yes. Yes. Yes.
