Rank the difficulty level of following SAT books?

Barron’s how to prepare for new SAT

Kaplan SAT Premier Program

Princeton Review 11 practises.

Official Guide.

I think it’s Barron>Official Guide>Princeton Review>Kaplan

i have princetons review 11 practice tests, and i dont like the book at all for some reason.

official guide is by far the best practice

I think it is the same as you, but it’s more like

Barron’s>>>>>>>>>>>>>Official Guide>>>Princeton Review>>>>>>>>Kaplan

Seems everybody agrees that Barron’s is the most difficult one

and by most difficult you mean the best to use when studying?

yea since ur score would be lower, but u would know how much better u would do on the actual exam :p

I have kaplan, official and pr 11 tests. (no barrons)

PR > Official >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Kaplan

Kaplan is a friggin joke. I can get easy 790’s for Critical reading on kaplans, but only get 600-700s on official and pr.
I also dont like the PR book for some reason.

For getting the Perfect Score, skip Princeton. For a simple multiplication or algebra question, they tell you to plug in answer choices. The Critical Reading questions don’t have the same style as Collegeboard’s. It’ll just confuse you.

Skip Kaplan as it will lure you into a false sense of security.

Collegeboard and Sparknotes rock!
