<p>Any specific engineering department? Also, a few of these schools don’t offer an undergrad business program (Vandy, NWU, Duke)… is econ good enough in that case?</p>

<p>Depends what you’re looking to do afterwards…some schools have terrific engineering but not as strong business recruiting (ex Illinois), others have tremendous business recruiting but weaker departments (ex. UVA, Duke)</p>

<p>I don’t think you can minor in Business. At any rate, every school on your list has a good Engineering program and a good B-School or Econ departments. Your emphasis seems to be Engineering since you are interested in just minoring in Business or Economics. </p>

<p>One way to sort those universities in order to academic reputation is to look at the rankings. </p>
