Rank These Schools

How would you rank the following schools based on strength in all three areas of singing, acting, and dance training. I know it is subjective, so let me know why you ranked the way you did. What matters to me is intensive acting training and the opportunity to do plays as well as musicals, as well as very intensive dance training in the areas of ballet, jazz, and tap. Thoughts?

NYU New Studio on Broadway Musical Theatre
CMU Musical Theatre
UMiami Musical Theatre
Syracuse Musical Theatre

1.CMU: will give you intensive acting, dance and singing. This is one of the top five programs in the country if not the best.
2. Syracuse: Will give you strong Acting, with singing and dance as close seconds.
3.U Miami: its a reputable program, its a second tier school. But offers great training, just not as well know as CMU or syracuse.
4. NYU: Not a lot is well know about “the New Studio”, well because its “new” I personally wouldn’t want to be a test pig, but it is “NYU” and its well know. I’m sure it offers good training but one can’t really judge the program until its been up and running for a while.

I would suggest you also look in Penn State University, University of Michigan, Ithaca, Emerson, CCM. All these programs are offering what you are looking for.

I probably should have mentioned that out of all of the schools that I applied for, these are the only ones I havent heard back from or was accepted to. I know that CMU would be my first choice, but also that it is very very difficult to get into

Question - why specifically do you consider Miami to be lesser than syracuse? How well do you know the Programs?

What are your qualifications besides research and word of mouth?
