Yeah that’s a good question, I’d like to know also.

look at the curves at the end of the test

For BB2 (2nd ed of the BB), the difficulty of the first three tests can be judged by using the curves: the more quickly the scaled score goes down from 800 for each section, the easier the test.

The remaining seven tests were never administered (although many of the questions come from older actual tests), so the (identical) curves are just given as very generous ranges. It would be hard to gauge these tests’ relative difficulty level.

some SAT practice booklet I got out the guidance office (I think its 09-2010 one) is pretty difficult compared to the BB. Even though I did the best on that practice test…But as for all the practice BB sections…I’d like to know as well. I’m sure that the curves can be interpreted…but that’s too much work :)

the practice tests they release (which are past SATs) are SLIGHTLY more difficult than the BB tests… but would not account for that much change. The first three tests which are also real tests seem equivalent to the rest of the book. There are obviously some disparity in the non-released tests but more or less you get the picture and the practice is great
