<p>Okay, so my interests are very interdisciplinary and so I have a wide range of departments in mind. But it seems that not a lot of people have much knowledge in comparing grad schools in different fields with each other since they seem to aim for much narrower fields than I am aiming for. </p>
<p>So how competitive are these fields compared to each other?</p>
<p>Astrophysics, Planetary Sciences, Atmospheric Sciences, Applied Math, Statistics, Computational Biology, Computational Neuroscience, Cognitive Science</p>
<p>And do some of them place heavier weight on GPAs than others?</p>
