Do the strong do whatever they want?? Rate from 2-12. Give honest and sincere comments!

Yes, I do believe the strong do what they wish. The feelings of power and invincibility can affect a person or country greatly. It gives them a sense of a Godlike state and the fact that nothing can take them down. The United States of America, Voldemort, and my principals son all have this persona.

The United States as many people know, is a superpower of the world. They are superior in technology, medicine, and manpower. During the last half century, the United States have fought in many countless wars and battles. During the Cold war, the communist scare by the Soviets led the U.S. to take dramatic actions. The United States attacked these countries such as Korea, Vietnam, and Cuba because they felt it was their right to police the world.

Justice is nothing more than the interest of the stronger.
-Thrasymachos.
Facts about the United States have emerged over the years. Reasons for their involvement in wars and battles. While fighting to protect their allies and way of life, secret agendas have been added. Wars are used to test the United States new weapons. The Atomic bomb used in World War 2, and the new air power in Vietnam. They fact is that the U.S. is the strongest in world. Why cant they do what they want?

In the popular book, Harry Potter, the main villain, Voldemort is a potent wizard. When Voldemort was in full strength and force, he could do whatever he wanted. He killed whoever opposed him and whoever did not seem fit to live. He reorganized school, governments, and laws. Nobody could stop him. By instilling fear and secrecy, he became powerful enough to do what he pleased. Nobody had the strength and courage to stop him.

A personal example is the son of my principal at my current high school. The kids is an overall great athlete. He receives the top scores in every class, and gets all the looks by the girls. Honestly, the kid is a bully. He treats people he deems inferior like trash. He walks around all high and might like he owns the place. The fact that his father would never believe his son would be that malicious in nature. Nobody says or does anything because their reputation could be ruined instantaneously.

As stated above, I do believe the strong do what they wish. The United States goes into countries and do whatever is on their agenda with no regards of the consequences. Voldemort does whatever he wants, kills whomever, and spreads fear to stay in power. The principals son is popular, sociable, and gets what he wants no matter the stake. The over sense of confidence by the strong is the reason why they do what they want.
