What do you guys think? And be brutally honest!

You sound like you have a lot of things in your favor. RHP likes to see students who have done a variety of things and “feel comfortable in their own skin.” They look to see if you have taken the most challenging courses in your high school and your APs. One of the critical factors for RHP are the PSAT and SAT scores. The PSAT (NMF level) will earn you an automatic Presidential Scholarship (half tuition) for soph, jr. and senior years and there are minimal SAT scores that are needed as well in order to even be admitted. My D studied for the SATs during sophomore summer and then took the SATs in the fall as RHP needs the early fall results for admissions. When you get the SAT scores back, you will know if you are in the range for RHP. If you can go to Los Angeles, it is also good to do an interview in the RHP office and visit faculty/facilities in your proposed dept/major. It is a big step to enter college early and the office will help you understand what that entails.
