rate my chance to get into Stanford

Hi, guys!

Recently, I paid a visit to a professor in Stanford. After a talk, he told me that I need pass a first -round screen, then I can name him as interviewers. Also, he asked me to keep in touch with him, and forwarded me to a PHD student in his lab for further information about application.

Actually, I am an international student who knows little about the admission process in the United States. Does he really want me in? If so, how much can he help me?

Background:
GPA: 3.8 (top10 university in China)
GRE:V 94%, Q 91%, AW 26%
Research: 2 years in home university, summer intern in UCLA
Publications: two 1st author reviews, one co-1st author article (under preparing), a presentation in UCLA summer school
RL: one professor in home univeristy, one editer from New York, one professor from UCLA

According to my background, can I have a chance to go through the extremely competitive first-round screen in Stanford?

Thanks.
