The online forums in my country say that I will most likely be rejected for most of the colleges I listed :frowning: Just want to hear a different opinion from you guys. Hope you can help!
Thanks!

No chance with those SAT I scores. If you get that ACT… slight chance. Do that stuff first.

If you can get a 2400 SAT II score… you should logically destroy the ACT at least (two science/math sections).

And judging by those scores… take classes to write better. And read more. I’m guessing your math was near perfect? If your essays are weak too… just improve your writing.

No chance currently. SAT way too low. I am not going to chance off “predicted” ACT scores.

Chances are low with your SAT score. Are you intending to retake?

Also, the NUS Faculty Award should not be part of your resume. I assume you’ve rejected it in favor of the overseas scholarship (given your interest in US universities), so there’s no real reason for you to list it.

International + non 2300(and higher) + a B +(aid?)= .1%

yeah thats a .1

sucks to be international

Yup, sucks to be international. I get the impression that it is easier for an international student to apply to top UK colleges as compared to US colleges.

i would say write great essays, say something that’s different about u.
i think illinois and purdue wont be a problem.
and highly recommend u to retake the SATI that will largely increase ur chance at those top notch schools
