Hi, I’m a junior for Eastern Europe looking to study in U.S. Because of my family’s low income, I would not be able to pay for these colleges. Looking to see what you would recommend to me.
I am an IB DP student and here are my predicted grades:
Physics HL: 7
Mathematics HL: 7
English B HL: 7
Serbian A SL: 6
Economics SL: 6
ESS: 7
Therefore my predicted score would be around 42-43 points, depending on my EE and TOK.
Considering that the IB DP is a two year program, I was in a IT oriented high school for my freshman and sophomore year with a 5.0/5.0 average score. Both schools are private schools and I am on a scholarship in both of them(4800 euros/year in my first school and 6500 euros/year in my second school). These scholarship covered the cost for my family.
Extracurricular activities:
I have competed in many different from: physics, mathematics, programming and electrotechnics every year. My best scores include.
Programming - 5th place on a republican competition - didn’t make the IOI team since I was in my freshman year(regarded too young).
Electrotechnics - 10th place on a republican competition.
Mathematics - 3rd place in the republic. The competition is organised by a mathematical society “Archimedes”(logical mathematics, think Kangaroo without borders).
I teach programming in my school for free, including a live-stream to those watching at home. Been doing that for 2 years.
I teach children programming at numerous centers for free. Some include the Cultural Center in my municipality; GRUBB a non-profit organisation helping Roma children in their everyday activities and so forth.
I am a founder of a humanitarian organisation in my school. We have organised actions with numerous centers in Serbia, such as GRUBB, NURDOR(parents of children with cancer), Red Cross, children hospitals and so forth.
Member of MENSA.
Football player, regarded one of the best wide receivers and kickers in the league.
Debate club - active participant.
My team and I have made several phone games, one of which is “popular” on Google Play store.
