Rate My Choice Please

<p>I need some help here. I am only in my second year of high school, but have already started searching for colleges to attend. Now not thinking about cost, ACT or SAT scores, or any of that other important information involved in selecting a college tell me if I either made a Bad, Average, or Good decision on having this college on my list.</p>

<p>Shawnee State University located in Portsmouth, Ohio.</p>

<p>Now I know this isn’t the most competitive school, but it is rated very high on what I want to major in.</p>

<p>For Shawnee State I would major in Digital Simulation & Gaming Engineering Technology. The program details talk about a mixture of Computer Science, Computer Programming, and 2D/3D graphics programming.</p>

<p>Shawnee State was rated #7 on the Princeton Review 2012 Top Video Game Design Schools.</p>

<p>Even though the school isn’t known for their great academics, the gaming department sure is.</p>

<p>Now saying if I did make it into this college ( If I stay where I’m at in grades I will anyways ) and since the price isn’t to high, did I make a good choice on having this college on my list for what I am majoring in?</p>

<p>If the school meets some or most of the criteria of what you think you are looking for, it’s good to have on the list. When you add more schools to the list, you should compare and contrast them to make sure that they are as good or better or have some other feature you feel is worth keeping for your list. In addition, you can try to get in visits to the schools on your list whenever an opportunity arises.</p>
