I’ve heard that both Environmental Science and Government were easy… Can anyone confirm?

this is such a STUPID thread. if you’re good at math then bc will be the easiest. if you’re good at english then lit will be the easiest. if you’re good at science then enviro. will be the easiest. if you’re good at politics then gov will be the easiest. so you’re question is quite dumb.

Even if you are good at math AP Calculus BC is a tough, tough course. Do not take BC unless math comes intuitively to you. And by intuitively, I mean A+s without doing any homework in honors precalc. I know lots of bright people who do their HW daily and pull A’s in honors precalc, yet get absolutely mauled over in BC calc, even with their study habits.

Difficulty is relative, but:

Calc BC: I thought it was easier than AB, becuase you are just applying AB concepts. The only new information is vectors and series. Series can get quite complicated.

APES: I thought it was cake. It is just a lot of busy work. Atleast at my school…

Well, if you took AB then BC, obviously BC will be extremely easy. Most schools (at least mine) make you go precalc straight to BC.

My school has three tracks that kick out at AP, there is an advanced track where precalculas sends some students to AB, and others to honors. There is a “low honors” track where most go to AB, the very top few go to BC and the lowest few go to honors. Then there is a “high honors” track where most go to BC, the few lowest go to AB. All the calculus classes are senior year only.

Lies. The class is…really…not that hard. You don’t even have to do homework. My friends and I didn’t do a single homework problems all year in Calc BC, simply studying for the tests for a couple hours and then reviewing for the AP the 5-6 weeks before it by taking old AP exams.

But the second poster is right. I wouldn’t find an AP Science or Math to be difficult at all…but I would DIE trying to learn the material of an AP history class. On the other hand, MANY people go around every day saying how easy US History is (“it’s all memorization”). Yah - it’s all memorization but memorization involves studying…and even then it’s near impossible (and quite boring).

AP Calc. BC is a tough course. The valedictorian at my school, who is also a US Presidential Scholar, almost got a B in AP Caculus.

if your good at the sat it will be the easiest

i think it depends on the school. i’d have to say:

BC Calc (takes effort)
Lit (easy)
APES (easier)
Gov’t (No work required.)

You guys are so twisted. Lol

BC Calc (No work required [really])
APES (easier)
Lit (okay)
Gov’t (ew)

It’s Say…

Bc calc
Lit
Govt
Es

Hardest to Easiest, IMO:

BC CALC
LIT - I HATE ENGLISH
ES
Govt

hardest to easiest (my opinion)

Gov’t (history is my worst subject)
Lit (hate english)
