@APSATScholar Dude, 11/10. That schedule would burn me out. Hope you do well with it.
My hopeful junior year schedule:
Dual Enrollment Freshman Composition I/II
AP Calculus BC
Physics Honors (AP Physics 1 not offered)
AP US History
Choir
Orchestra
Woodshop II
10/10 for sure. Oh, and by AP research i meant AP Seminar. Also, do u think that it looks weak that i dont have calc ab junior year and that i dont take it until senior year?
PLTW Engineering Development and Design
AP Computer Science A
Regular Physics 1 OR AP Physics 1 (I’m still deciding)
U.S. and Virginia Government
AP Calculus AB
AP Economics
English 12
8/10. IDK what the first or fourth class is. Good amount of APs (don’t wanna stress yourself).
AP Lit
AP Chem
AP Chem Lab (we had to make it a block class recently at our school because we never had enough time in just one class)
Health Occupations
Health Occupations (block class also)
AP Spanish
Government and Economics (didn’t take AP because all available hours were full)
@bloxJacket The first class is a capstone (end of program) class to the PLTW Engineering program and is mainly an Engineering Research and Project Development class. The fourth is a non-AP/non-honors version of AP U.S. Government and Politics.
PLTW Engineering Design and Development
+AP Computer Science A
+AP Physics C
U.S. and Virginia Government (Non-AP Version of AP U.S. Government)
+AP Calculus AB
+AP Economics (AP Micro/Macroeconomics)
English 12
Marketing II
Integrated Math II honors
Integrated Math III honors (next semester)
English 10 honors
US History honors
Biology and Chemistry honors
Driver’s education
Chinese II
@noplayallwork
APUSH can be very time consuming with all the other classes he has. AP Calc and AP Comp Sci are pretty advanced, and then AP Physics C is often considered the hardest AP course. I’d stay away from APUSH too.
Can’t rate the post above since it doesn’t really…comply. So, Writer10, I’m going to assume you’re a 10th grader since here APWH is usually taken as a sophomore. I’d give you 7/10, everything’s pretty solid but that Study Hall? I mean… Study Hall could be used productively but there’s no reason to study at school, unless you have situations where you don’t have time at home (just imo).
10th grade:
AP World History
AP Art History
AP Calculus BC
AP Computer Science A
Anatomy and Physiology Hon
English 3 Hon
English 2 Hon (just finishing up online.)
Spanish 3 Hon
Art History and Criticism Hon (online, it’s a supplement to my AP class.)
I expect to finish English 2 Hon online relatively fast to get started on my next online class, Earth-Space Science Hon.
Lots of AP classes for a sophomore and good rigor all around. I assume you’re into STEM?
My schedule (Senior year):
AP Chemistry + Lab applied for AP stats/bio but they need to get back to me >< but for the mean time, Personal Finance (math elective)
AP English Literature & Composition
AP US Government & Politics (two semesters)
Physical Education
Linguistics (Elective)
Health (--)
AP Calculus AB
8/10, but 9/10 if the AP Stats/Bio thing goes through. Good luck! (Same thing happened to me and I got stuck in Forensics instead of AP Chem for a while…)
Senior year:
AP English Lit
AP Java
AP Gov
AP Music Theory
AP Chem
AP Calc BC
I’m also president of Math Team, a new member of Knowledge Bowl, volunteer tutor 2 hours a week, and volunteer grade papers for 2 hours a week.
I already know 2 programming languages and AB Calc and Honors Chem were easy for me, so I’m hoping this won’t kill me too much…
8/10, Comp Sci, Calc, and Chem won’t be bad if you’re good art math(seems like you are); the most difficult part of this schedule comes from Gov IMO. Probably will give the most homework.
Senior:
AP Physics C (two periods w/lab)
AP English Lit
AP Calc BC
AP Econ
AP Gov
Computer Science Advanced Topics(course progression goes AP CS A, Data Structures, then Adv. Topics)
