^^ 9/10! 5 AP classes would be a lot for me.
I am currently a freshman, going into sophomore year.
Honors Integrated 3
Honors English 3/4
AP Chemistry
AP Art History
Honors World History
Spanish 2
Cheer (assuming I make the team) OR Weight Training in the case that I don’t.
9/10. Pretty good for a rising junior not interested in STEM.
I had to change my schedule A LOT because of new graduation requirements and a ban on online STEM classes.
Sophomore schedule:
AP World History
Research Chemistry Honors
Mathematical Analysis Honors
English 10 Honors
AP Biology
AP Music Theory
Latin 4 Honors
Online Health, PE, and Driver’s Education 10 over the summer
You didn’t say what year you are, but I’m just going to make a guess. I’d give it an 8/10 since even Pre-Calculus can be hard and good job on that honors constitutional law and English!
Freshman schedule: (we can’t take APs by the way, and I want to get into an Ivy if that helps)
Honors Environmental Science
Honors World History l
Honors English l
Algebra l
9.5/10 Taking 2 AP sciences at the same time sounds like a lot of work! @Student1928
Junior:
AP US Gov
AP English Lang
AP Calc BC
AP Physics 1
Independent Study French V Honors
Personalized Medicine Honors
DE Foundations of Inorganic Chem/DE Topics in International Studies
8-9/10 Wow all honors or AP classes good luck. Also those 3 AP social studies are all really hard by themselves and taking them at once is a challenge! Good luck!
Rising junior:
AP Language
AP Micro and AP Macroeconomics
French
AP Calculus BC
AP Physics C
Band (or AP Computer Science Principles if I don’t get make it in)
Planned sophomore year schedule:
Algebra 2 Honors
Chemistry Honors
English 2 Honors
AP World History
Public Speaking and MicroComputer Applications at my local CC
Dance Tech 3 Honors or an online elective if I’m not cleared to dance yet
Ugh, my schedule is so bad compared to everyone else’s. I’m so dumb.
I would give that 10/10 a lot of difficult APs in there.
Rising junior
AP Bio
AP Computer Science
AP French Language
Honors Precalculus BC
English 11
US History
@thefirebird At some schools, AP Seminar counts as an English credit. But you’re right, a core English would be helpful too. Since my proposed junior year schedule is a mess, I’ll just post my current sophomore schedule below, which is nothing compared to most people’s, but oh well. I’m pretty sure I’ve posted it here before already haha.
World History
Genetics
Honors Precalculus
Honors English 10
Honors Spanish III
PLTW Human Body Systems (my hardest class)
AP Computer Science Principles
8/10 because of hard APs (bio and ush), but trig and mandarin aren’t honors?, also if you’re considering to study bio perhaps a strong math background can be worked on? (just a suggestion from reading your previous replies)
Registered to take the following in sophomore year:
I might not take both the AP sciences though because the lab periods have to align, but if it doesn’t I’ll swap one of them out for Anatomy and Physiology Honors or AP Biology depending on what fits because they’re available in more periods. Obviously I’m very science-oriented, and I don’t know if this will be a negative or positive (or neutral) thing?
Organic Chemistry H (on Saturdays 8-12 am)
AP Chemistry
AP Physics Mechanics
AP US Gov
English 2 H
Art 1 H
Precalculus H
Spanish 3 H
Phys Ed 10th grade (idk if I should include this)
