<p>@nate42 calculus as a junior would be good when applying to top schools (not sure what colleges you’re aiming for but since you’re on cc I would assume HYPS) but if you are also taking precal, calculus would be pretty tough. I know at least at my school in Precalc you learn a lot of material that is necessary for success in calculus. While ap calc would look good junior year, it would look better to take it senior year and get a A and a 5 on the exam than junior year and not do as well. I would advise against it concurrently with Precalc but then again, I don’t know you and you may just be a great math student who can handle it.</p>
