<p>personal examples are just as good as history/lit… you are one person piccolo, you can’t be a statistic for the entire essay grading of the sat. even the sat book shows examples of 6s which are narratives.</p>

<p>piccolo. that equation was just an overall view of trying to get a 12. for example for HYPS, i would say the equation is like </p>
<p>2300 SAT + 3.9-4.0 GPA + … = acceptance, </p>
<p>but thats for the majority of the people. of course u could get in with a 2000sat and a 3.7 gpa but it is not the path many should follow if they wanna go to HYPS. Likewise, people are free to write however many paragraphs they want but they should realize that the majority of the essays are according to my equation.</p>
