Im too lazy to type the prompt. Its basically about whether it is good for people to strive to better themselves. I asked a real grader, and he said itd easily be a 12, but idk. I want other ideas. I took the test today, but Im just curious.

It is clearly the best path for people to strive to better themselves rather than staying with what they have. If people don’t strive, the world would have remained feudalistic, and ruled by the caste system. Two big examples of people benefiting by striving to better themselves are portrayed by the experiences of my aunt and her son.

The first example that proves my point is portrayed by my aunts experiences. After she had gone through a bitter divorce, she had no income coming into the house and had to support three young children all by herself. She had the choice to tap into the family inheritance that her father left behind to support herself, but refused to live off of his hard earned money. She took a loan, and went to community college to get a degree in business. She then started to work in conjunction with her two younger brothers, and they soon started their own business. She, being the wisest and oldest of the three, was elected head, and within 3 months they saw exponential gains. In 3 years, she was easily able to declare that she was a multimillionaire, and was able to pay of her debts in a heartbeat. By striving to be the best rather than accepting money from her late fathers fortune, she was able to become more successful than she was before.
Another example that refines my point is through the experiences of her son. Her son, being the youngest of her three kids was not the most intelligent child in the world. He was easily outstripped compared to all the other children in his grade in terms of knowledge. He had the choice to leave school and take a place in his mothers continually growing business, but refused. He worked very hard throughout high school, and achieved valedictorian of his graduating class. He then attended Harvard and after college was enrolled in Harvard medical with a full scholarship. He was not the top of his class, but was easily in the top 15 students. He was very successful, and ended up being a successful neurosurgeon. Although he had a disability, he refused to live off of his mother like a leech, and took his life into his own hands.
It is obvious that working hard to better oneself is the best approach to take. This was made very evident with the experiences of my aunt and her son. It is evident that striving to make yourself better succeeds and makes the quality of your life that much better.
