How is Rawlings compared to Jennings? I know Jennings was recently renovated so I was hoping to get in there with my roommate. Rawlings is my second choice but I do not know much about it. any info would be great?

Jennings has been renovated in 2010 with Flat screen tv in lounge, new windows ,is a litte farther from hub, Union, most freshman classes and you have to cross busy Museum road. It is primarily female 75% female and 25% male…farther away from food…closest is the convienience store at Beaty.

Rawlings has not been renovated, but is the most centrally located dorm to Hub, Union, classes, Broward Rec. area and sorority row.
It is really more about location…
It is basically 50/50 male /female…
first floor male…second and third floor half male/ half female, and fourth floor all female
The RA I talked to said it has the best shower resident ratio of most of the residence halls…5 shower stalls I believe
One of the main busstops is in front of rawlings and the stop has just been renovated…a Subway and Market was just finished as at the Plaza at Rawlings Hall.

Broward is next to Rawlings and part of it is getting renovated this summer. Renovations are new window, flooring, and not sure what else.

I called the Halls that interested me one afternoon. A RA answered the phone and answered the questions that I had. Each Hall thought theirs was the best. So I would call each one and form your own opinion.

I am living in Rawlings because of the location.
