I am very impressed with the “new” Randolph. My D is interested in dance and soccer at a D3 level. I have read lots of stuff over the past 6 mos about the shift at the school and I think it enhances the school and makes it more appealing. The reaction is similar to another school she is considering that just did the same thing, Wells. The track record of schools that have gone coed that we have looked at like Hood and Goucher indicate that “this too will pass” and the school will be better positioned for the future.

My daughter interviewed with Randolph’s soccer coach and head of the dance department last year and was very impressed with each. And the fact the school was going coed was a draw as she was against an all girls’ school. However, the overall size of the school was the deciding factor. Daughter #2 is still interested in Randolph.
