GRACIAS!!

I think that Boston University would be a reasonable choice for you. Your extracurriculars are outstanding. I’m pretty sure your composite SAT score is within the median 50% from last year. From what I hear, and I could be wrong, the School of Communications at BU is top-notch. It’s not a bad choice at all.

Thanks a lot. I’ve heard that it’s good as well. That’s why I was wondering if it was difficult to get in to. :)

BU’s College of Communication is really quite amazing. It’s journalism program is especially noteworthy, as graduates from it include Bill Oreilly and Robert Zelnick. Another thing that stood out to be is that BU has a cool advertising program. Students take part in a Non Profit Organization and design advertisement for local small companies and firms around Boston. Real hands-on experience, it’s a novel thought. : )

Actually, I checked. Not to get your hopes down, but you’re below the median 50%. This is not the end of the world. By definition, 1/4 of BU is right there with you. Play up your extracurriculars and specialized classes. That’s what’ll get you in.

Thanks for your help. Yeah I’m used to the SAT being low but it’s all good. A few people from my school got into BU last year with SATs in the 1100s. I was more worried that my unweighted GPA will hurt me. I have a C and C+ on my transcript from advanced math courses, but I’m consistent in all other subjects.
