<p>Gosh, you mean ask someone who might actually know the answer to our question?? Silly idea.</p>

<p>Wow…sarcasm much? Not everyone is comfortable with calling the admissions office and asking questions. I know some of my classmates felt like they would be bothering them or that they would be considered a burden and some of them are afraid of sounding stupid. </p>

<p>Theres a thread a couple pages back in this forum that mentions that the notification date will be March 20th. And it was a pretty legit source, since it was in a newspaper and they quoted Michael Mills, assistant provost of Northwestern or something to that extent.</p>

<p>So…maybe it comes out online 3/20 but they don’t send anything by mail until 4/1? Thats a bit of a time gap though.</p>

<p>Check out what date NU sent their decision for last year, the year before that, and the year before that. All April 15th.</p>

<p>3/20 is highly unlikely, especially since it seems like that one news article is our only source.</p>

<p>Why would they send them April 15th? Doesn’t make much sense, since students need to choose the school they are attending by may 1st. With less time to consider Northwestern, students might choose to enroll elsewhere.</p>

<p>I’m actually betting on the last week of March. It says in this newsletter that I got that NU is sending out decisions in “late” March. I just automatically associate “late” with “last week of March.”</p>

<p>It says BY the 15th…which mean it could b anytime from now till then…im going to keep hoping for the 20th…</p>
