RD Roster for W+M

When my oldest d was accepted 4 years ago, she got a mailing on March 3rd or 4th. She was very surprised because it was almost a month early. I say “a mailing” because it was in a thin envelope and was actually a notification that she was named a Monroe Scholar - this arrived a day or so before the actual acceptance packet. She had to read it over several times before she realized it meant she really was in. Before opening it, she said something like, “Great - something must be wrong with my application.”

This year the website says notifications will be mailed in early April, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they come sooner, esp. for the Monroes. As I recall, there was a special admitted students weekend for Monroe Scholars in early April, and people can’t be expected to make travel plans on a few days’ notice.

Politcal Science and philosophy 3.65 GPA 1340 SAT (deferred from ED)

rooneyfan: according the the W&M website we should hear back from them early April. Although a girl from my school recieved a call today saying she was in.

undecided358 … sorry I missed your post earlier.

The course schedule for the fall isn’t up yet. I expect it will go up around April. We (freshmen) have to meet with our advisors the last week of march so I expect registration will be opening up for current students fairly quickly after that.

There was an 08 group on yahoo last year… I think a few kids basically set it up, they found all these people. I had over 100 aim screen names for WM people before I set foot on campus… can’t say I talk to many of them anymore, but it was nice to talk to so many people.

I would expect RD letters to come out the end of march. I remember mine came early (as in, before April 1) last year.

Was this girl a Monroe Scholar also? Or a regular admit that they called?

If you talking about my post…I don’t know, where not that close. She was just bragging about it in class. I’ll ask if you want, but I think she’s just a regular RD admit.
