Do you have greater chances of being accepted at Stanford if you apply with REA option as opposed to RD; under the following scenario?
When you don’t have exceptionally high SAT & GPA (2100, 4.2) BUT you have honors and awards like commended national scholar, NHS, IB diploma candidate etc. You are exceptional in leadership (in school as well as in community) which speaks for your dedication, hard work and perseverance; able to wrtie a great college essay; have recommendations not only from teachers but also from principal. Exceptional recommnedation from Community leader who is ivy league graduate.

If I were you, I would apply RD, the REA pool has higher admittance rate only because the vast majority of them are in pretty much your scenario, except with much higher gpa + sat scores.

Thanks Smud96 for replying. Are you saying that REA will have less chances of being accepted because more academic achievements are there to compete. BUT why would they accept you in RD; what are the factors that may be of advantages with RD.
