<p>I wouldn’t read too much into the comments on an anonymous forum (including this one). It seems to me that this is a pretty ho-hum, safe choice. The well-regarded provost of Michigan can obviously handle UVa administratively, and is familiar with all of the issues. The reaction of alumni that I know is very positive.</p>
