i’m thinking of sending in a scientific abstract as a supplementary, but due to a mix-up with forms, i was unable to enter it in a competition and therefore it couldn’t get any awards…should i send it in anyway? i think it’s written pretty well

please reply with any advice, it’s due today.

bump…please ans…

If you think it makes you stand out, sure.

I wouldn’t send it in…it’s like sending in an unpublished article. It’s useless–they have your grades, ECs, and recommendations, which most likely demonstrate or explicate your ability in science. Unless the abstract details a cure for cancer, I wouldn’t send it in.

well im in the process of publication so i did…wont officially be accepted for a month or so, so i sent in mine.

but if yours isnt important or anything, i doubt you should

Personally, I don’t think it would hurt. On the other hand, it might not even be looked at or help much either, but if it’s good, it could impress.
