Honestly, those short answers are so short, so as long as you don’t have any grammatical errors and the essay reflects who you are, you should be fine. If you repeated things that you already said like “I did this research with this amazing professor,” then that’s a red flag. You should have written about how that experience affected you as a person. Your application should be about you, and not a measure of how many prestigious programs you participated in.
