I got a 620 in CR on the January SAT. Since then I’ve been studying with Barron’s and then with the Collegeboard online course. By the time I finished Barron’s I had been consistently getting 650+ and I got 700+ on my first two online course tests. The next two however, my score dropped down to a 650 then a 620.
First of all, do you think this is bad luck on those last two tries or good luck on the first two tries?
What can I do to improve my score? I find it difficult to study simply because there is no one type of question I am bad at. I make mistakes in sentence completion and in the passages. I’ve been doing flash cards for vocab, but I don’t know how else to study for passages besides to read as much as possible and do practice tests. I usually make mistakes when there are two very similar answers and I can’t pick the better one.
Thank you so much! I really hope I can break a 700 in May >.>
