Reading Newspapers

Is it true this can help raise critical reeading scores?
if so, which one is the best?
does it matter if its online or not?
thanks

Reading is reading… and newspapers will help your reading skills. Pick a newspaper with editorials, opinion pieces, and higher style of writing.

I think so. High level newspapers probably have a higher concentration of words than a lot of novels.
Personally, I read the Wall Street Journal. It has taught me so many words. A lot of people also recommend the New York Times.
If you find newspapers boring though, a novelist you can always trust to bring you new vocab (unless you’re some sort of genius) is Nabokov. I’d say his books are similarly dense in terms of vocab.

okay
for wall street and NY times

does it matter if i read the online ones or the actual suscription ones?
