So when I am reading during non-exam times… sometimes I don’t even understand some easy concepts or it takes a while for me to get it… but during the day or 2 before exams… I will usually get it but by that time it is too late for me to remember everything for the exam… is it that I do not have the pressure during non exam times that forces me to think harder and get the material?

If you’re comparing reading before the exam VERSUS reading weeks ahead, there’s no reason to understand it better in the different timeframe; I’d guess you’re not trying as hard weeks in advance if this is the case. If you’re referring to taking too long to understand the material because you’re studying at both times, I recommend dropping back in the classes (e.g. if you’re having trouble with calc, drop back to precalc to get a solid handle on the preconcepts.)

i meant it takes a much shorter time when there’s the pressure to get it right before the exam… but by that time it’s too late for me to remember everything…
