<p>How should I study for the reading section of the ACT? I am a very slow reader. Should I start timing myself when I do the reading section of the ACT or should I not time myself until I learn how to read swiftly?</p>
<p>The best thing to do to get better at reading, is to read classic literature, it pushes your reading ability and will help increase your score. It raised my reading score from a 22 to a 31. I would time myself to see how long it takes me to read a passage, then work on reducing that time a little at a time.</p>
