Reading was never a difficult section for me since I read a lot as a kid but I would recommend reading books of literary merit (those from AP Lang and Lit) and try to read between the lines. Compare what you interpreted with the results from Sparknotes to see if you’re thinking in the right way. Understanding what is implied will help you greatly. I find this method is a two in one because it prepares you for both the reading section and for AP English classes. For speed, read the passage first and summarize each paragraph in around three words. This makes it easy for you to come back to it and quickly find the information you need.
Great advice in the prior post. Also write down words you can’t define,write down the definitions, and learn them. Vocabulary isn’t the main question very often.
