Hi all! I was a freshman in Berea back in 2021 but left to take care of my mom and myself
I’m currently 21, working towards completing my Associates of Science in Chemistry right now. I’ll likely be finished by Spring 2026.
Should I wait until I’m 24 to apply? The counselor told me I’d have a higher chance of being admitted in compared to what it was when I admitted. I’d love to hear advice and see y’all’s perspective. Should I reapply? I really miss it and I hope they’d take my associates into account for transfers. A bunch of my credits that I have unused now were accepted when I was a student.
I was only there for two months. I’m hoping I can get back in. Just trying to plan ahead
Who is the counselor. At Berea? At your current school?
I suggest contacting someone at Berea to inquire about their non-traditional student program as well as your options for admittance to the college. One may be a better fit at this stage in your life. Kudos for continuing your education after making family a priority. Best of luck to you.
