<p>I am seeking readmission to HYS (only one). I got kicked out for poor grades and need to get back during Spring.
Does anyone know what they are looking for in a Readmission letter?</p>

<p>My cousin reapplied to Yale after taking a year off and he said that readmission isn’t that hard to gain. Perhaps you’re on a different boat since you got kicked out for poor academics.</p>
<p>Depends on why you got such crappy grades. If it was because of family problems, mental health issues, etc., then you have a great chance of getting back in if you’ve resolved them. If you were just lazy (and you would have to be REALLY lazy to get a 1.0 at a school with an average GPA of 3.7, frankly) then you better have done some soul-searching.</p>
