I watched Barbie at home the second time, with Just Husband (capitalized and impersonalized as per @Marilyn , haha). He enjoyed the movie, but like some others, thought America’s rant was a little over the top. I said “you’ve never been a woman.” He conceded that point.
The rant was the 1st best thing about the movie. If only one man shifted his perspective even a bit, it was worth sidetracking the movie for those few moments. The second best thing was the Kens dancing. Loved that.
I’ll see Barbie again sometime, and Oppenheimer too. I feel there’s a lot more to pick up on with Oppenheimer that I missed the first time, especially after going to Los Alamos this past September.
