Real jam tight on time. Dire need

I have taken the sat twice now.
First: M 690 Cr 640 W 660

Second: M 760 Cr 650 W 680

I have just finished my sophomore year, but the catch is I am homeschooled and have a weird set up, as I will explain.

I have already applied to one college and have gotten in on a scholarship and will attend it this fall, one month. The college is not very high powered (it is a very competitive). Now I plan on starting over and going to a better college in one year, therefore graduating me from high schooltwo years early at my first college and one year early at my second. Now if I were to retake my sat i assume, in order to get an application in on time, I would have to take it by october and I hav not been studing for it because of this pending question. I have one month before I jump into full time college life taking my first semester Organic chem, calc, Eng and some required classes that I have little idea about but I must receive a 4.0 here at my fist college.

Here is the money maker: should I try and retake the sat’s in the middle of my semester maybe sabutoging it or should I just go through on these scores.
I am an aspiring premed student looking for a good college with scholarship.

Let me know what you fellows think I appreciate it alot,
Thanks.

Hi Jetmaster1,

Not knowing more about your situation and which college you’ll be attending, I’d guess that you’ll be applying to schools as a transfer student, not a regular freshman admissions student. In that case, I’d guess your college grades and professor recommendations will be more important than your SAT scores, but I could be wrong. I’d suggest calling the admissions offices of some schools you’d like to apply to and asking how their application process will work for your specific case.

Actually I will not be going as a transfer but simply starting over (with zero credits) at my second school. Basicly I am using my first college as my last year of highschool.

Even if you’re starting over (applying as a freshman) your college grades will probably be what colleges look for. But seriously, call the colleges you’re thinking of applying to and ask them how they would look at your situation.

Of course if you find that they’re going to look closely at your SAT scores as well, then you have to look at your scores compared to the admits at the schools you’re applying to. Your math score is obviously fantastic. Your Critical Reading score will get you into most good schools in the country, but you’d want to get it up a bit if you’re applying to top tier places.

I know that’s not very specific, but I hope it helps.

Yes, it does thanks.
