<p>I thought I was well qualified for UC berkeley’s chemical engineering program, but I was rejected. However, I would love to go to UC berkeley. What are my chances of getting admission through a repeal (I’m an out of state student)These were my stats before. </p>
<p>ACT: 34 (M:35, W:33, R:31 , S:35, E+W: 30)
SAT Subjects: Math II: 800, Chem: 780, US History: 720
AP: Calc BC 4 2009, Chem 5 2011, US History 3 2011
GPA: 3.93 (unweighted) (2 stupid B in BC Calc and Vector Clc)
Courses taking right now: Advanced orchestra, 4 APs (Lit, Physics, Stat, and Gov) and Diff EQ
Special circumstances for schooling: have taken Vector Calc and am currently taking Diff EQ</p>

Varsity Tennis: 9th-12th Grade. Captain of tennis team since 11th grade.
Varsity Cross Country: 12th Grade. I did this to supplement my tennis playing.
Advanced Orchestra: 10-12th Grade. We got 3rd in State and 1st in state. I am co-principal Cellist.

A recommendation from my internship professor (I took an internship at Oregon State University over the summer)
A possible recommendation from a person who has donated millions to berkeley (if i can get him to recommend me)</p>
<p>What are my chances? and is it worth it for me to do the Appeal? I would really love to go to Berkeley. Double majoring in Chem engineering and economics at UCLA is my backup plan if I dont get into Berkeley</p>
