I scored a 1400 on my PSAT (690 English, 710 math) without studying at all. I realize now that I should’ve studied in order to qualify for a scholarship, but at the time I felt overwhelmed with other schoolwork. What would be a realistic score improvement for me on the SAT if I follow a reputable, strict study plan? My weighted GPA is a 4.64 taking 3 APs and 1 Honors course.
You can probably get that up by 100-150 depending a bit on luck (the curve on the day you take the test), as well as studying/ learning a few more tricks. FWIW some of the parents on one of the threads were mentioning that our kids scored about 90 points higher on the October SAT than on the PSAT (mine included).
