Realistic University Choices

I'm currently attending a community college in Washington state, basically wrapping up my last quarter before completing my Associate's Degree. If I were to stay in the state, I'm really only interested in UW-Seattle. I'm not really certain I want to stay anyways so I'm trying to explore all of my options nationwide.
I'm 29, and have graduated high school back in 2004 in my home state of Michigan. I did not take the SAT or ACT. In 2014 I was honorably discharged from active duty military once my enlistment contract was completed. Now that I've begun community college, working on my transfer degree...I am aiming towards a communications degree. Particularly marketing communications. I wanted to avoid the business math that comes with a typical business degree but wanted something that is still relevant in relatively in the same ballpark. I don't know the powerful universities that specialize more within that specific program but would really appreciate any advice. I know I'm not some Ivy-league student, but last I checked I'm about a 3.3-3.4 GPA student...so I'm also looking at realistic schools to bother with. While I'm open to all possible locations nationwide, I do have particular interests in UT, CO, TX, and maybe AZ; however, like I said any good schools are appreciated. Thank you in advance.
