<p>Okay, I admit - I am really panicked. My d was accepted at UMich, which does not require a mid year grade report. So that’s great. However, all of her other apps are pending & do require mid year reports. She just got a D on Calc III midterm. She got an A first quarter, B second quarter, and really screwed up on the midterm. She still has a B- as a final grade (it’s a half year course.) All of her other grades range from As to B+s. Is this enough to get her pending applications rejected ? Is it advisable to reach out to admissions officers ?</p>
<p>At our HS the midterm exam grade wouldn’t even show on the midterm report-just the final grade. What does your HS send ? The final semester grade or the midterm report?</p>
<p>Our hs just sends final grades and a B- should be ok. Don’t contact any admissions people. If you want reassurance talk to your D’s GC. If the D was the final grade, you’d have something to worry about.</p>
