I’m pretty sure most of you probably wont be able to give me definite answers because I have such a different background compared to a regular student. ’
So I have a medical condition called spontaneous pneumothorax and I think quite a few guys have experienced something similar, but I had it reoccur 12 times with 7 surgeries. I missed SO MUCH school I had to drop all my classes first semester of my sophomore year and had to ease back into 4 courses second semester. I had a couple surgeries throughout my junior year too but didn’t have to drop all my classes. + i had to make up some of the courses through online. However, my GPA is nowhere near what they should be in order to apply to some of these colleges I want to attend.

Anyways stats wise my GPA is definitely not good at all.
Freshman year: 3.8 UW
Sophomore year: 3.2 UW
Junior year: 3.5 UW
Senior year: taking only 2 APs.

So my cumulative is only 3.5 and that is REAAAALLLY low and the only thing I have to prove that I’m not a horrible student and that I just missed a lot of school is my SAT score.

SAT:
Crit: 690
Math: 760
Writing: 800
TOTAL: 2250

I’m hoping I might have a shot at some of the higher end schools if I write a wonderful essay explaining why my gpa is low, but let me know what you guys think!
