i think i got in despite the fact tat i was an asian female bc i think i was different. like many said asian nearly all have extremely high test scores n maybe my low scores actually set me apart? haha i doubt tat was it but then maybe its because they realli saw threw my work ethic which i greatly emphasised in my essay which were contributed to the values of family and working for a better future for my family. or mayb its cuz i have quanity and quality extra curriculars along wit my many leadership positions. Mayb its the mere fact tat i was a state champion cheerleader which im sure ivies don’t get much or mayb they liked my picture haha mayb it was jus the luck of the draw i dono but im happpy =)</p>

<p>I’m working on my Penn essays this weekend, which kind of freaks me out because I had never intended to be so far behind on applications when I started way back in summer, but I am. If you don’t mind my asking, which essay do you feel was your strongest and why?</p>

<p>DFTBA i don’t minddd im also a major procrastinator myself sent it in on the day it was due haha but i think my strongest essay was my personal essay bout the people that influenced u. I wrote about how my parents did n the fact that they were absent through most of my life working contributing to my strong work ethic which i realli emphasizedd carefully putting many of my accomplishments into it. I think the most important thing u hafto keep in mind while wriitng is to be genuine and true n come from the heart. Don’t try so hard to dress ur essays up or sound intelligenttt jus write wut u feel n be passionate. n if ur not a great writer like me don’t do the optional essay I didn’t. the optional essay is truly optional haha for ur why penn essay I incorporated tiny details that one wouldn’t have known unless they did thorough research on the school which I did and even rememberd all the times I encountered Penn remembered the representatives names n little stuff like I guess they can see that I really wanted to be there. It took me 3 weeks to perfect my essays. I worked extremely hard on them. Also I think a major factor is tat u should have plenty of leadership positions I think that helped alot. I hope that helps!
