I applied to UNC Asheville using and essay that is horrible and doesn’t even make sense. I wrote it, not realizing I couldn’t go back and edit it. I still have a 4.0 GPA, Good extra circulars, and okay SAT scores. UNC also has an acceptance rate of 70%. Is there a chance because of my essay that I won’t get in?
If I were you, I would probably email the admissions and attach the essay. Let them know by accident you uploaded the wrong essay version. I wouldn’t usually recommend this. But, given their acceptance rate is 70%, you have nothing to loose.
Agree, I would email the admission officer with the final copy of the essay and your apologies.
