<p>I am HS senior graduating next month, and since I am planning to transfer to the schools in the US next year. In oder to make me look well-rounded, and actually have some ECs, I applied for a summer program, namely ShadValley,and of course i got accepted and just about one hour ago, a company phoned me and said they wanted to give an interview for a summer intership(part of the program).But the thing is I don’t know if its worth it…</p>

<p>I don’ot know if it will rreally make a difference…and I am gonna spend one whole summer doing this…can some of you guys.give some comments?</p>

<p>no it’s really not that important. at most schools, whether you get in or not will be determined by your grades/test scores since you’re international, followed by reasons (essays). ECs are important, but I don’t think you should do something solely to put something on your app. Get involved in your school instead.</p>
